I bought this one from Better Bodies Motorsport. Great service and I've been really happy with the way the knob feels. It slips over the G50 gear lever and clamps with four barrel-screws (which should be secured with Loctite due to the differing expansion characteristics between steel and aluminum).
Most of the cool Porsche prototypes didn't use the laminated balsa "917" knob -- they used billet knobs. Watch McQueen slot the shifter of his 917 during the pre-start sequence in the Le Mans film. Billet.  Custom Aluminium Accs. Lock Buttons
