Help please - SWB boot area image needed
 

Hi

I have almost finished my nut and bolt resto. Finally, obtained the correct water washer bottle and have realised that there is no bracket for it to connect to on the boot floor.

Could I trouble a Pelicanitte to take a pic of the bracket that sits on the boot floor so that I can make one up please.

67 Trunk floor bracket info

I'm remembering this - so it might be way off to the actual piece. The tanks bottom fin set down into a stand-up bracket. Sorry don't have a photo of it.
But here is a sketch of what the concept looks like,

The bottom flange of the metal bracket is spot welded to the pan. The three fins (tangs) splay open- two outside tangs one way and the center in the opposite direction to accept the bottom of the plastic tank.

There is a stamping or clip bracket that nests into the small rectangle opening of the plastic.

This must be a 1968 or so car.

The other referenced links talks about the 1965-67 square bottom tank.

Your bottle is for a '68 and it clips into a mount like the drawing.
