corbeau carrera seats.... are they crappy?
I have been semi looking for a set of seats to replace my old club seats and I thought that the might make a good low cost option. I saw these on Ebay and the guy only "had them in his boxster for a week" Does he know something that I should know?
does anyone out there have a set of these or a nice set of other aftermaket seats ? The wacky thought of the week was to alter the clubs and make them better by raising the bolsters on the back and bottom. then have them recovered. "If no one makes what you want..... go make it yourself "

They are a nice seat. I've sat in them before. The only bad thing I can think of is, the are not FIA approved, and they don't come with a hole for a sub belt. I have factory sport seats and they are comparable to them in bolster support.
I'm planning to put either Sparco Torino's or the Corbeau carrera's in my car this summer. |

the shop i bought my racing seat from said that some corbeau's (especially the low end models) are not made with good fabric covers and can wear out quickly.
i don't have personal experience with them, so i can not attest to the truth of the shop's comments. |
