Forum software update...

I had to update a whole bunch of software on the three forums servers here last night. I'm sure something got screwed up royally, but I can't see anything right now. Please let me know if there are any weird difficulties or something that is out of the ordinary.

By the way, I fixed the big Smilies page (had no idea it wasn't working).

A Under Maintenance posting welcome me at 04:50 EDT so I left the house without my Fix :D:eek::D

Look like everything is working and it even tell me that My Last Visit was at 06:46 (looking at the same Under Maintenance when I got to work).

Alright Wayne, what is the purpose of the "Like" link (You Like This message). Is it for internal purposes or everybody can se that "I like your Posting"? ;)

Not a fan of the 'like' link at all. I don't see how it could be useful (for me).

Everything else seems to be working as it should.

The M5boards have used a similar "like" feature and it's somewhat helpful in that it gives people thanks for their contributions. If someone/many dislike a post made, there's no option to hate on that boob........ :D So I don't like it because it only gives thanks but doesn't bash on useless/inappropriate posts. <--- I guess that's left up to the moderators.

What I noticed is the browser tab for Pelican on both Chrome and Firefox no longer displays the Pelican icon, it displays the "V" for, I presume, vBulletin.
Also when you hover your cursor over the tab it says Pelican Parts Technical BBS - Powered by vBulletin. It may have said that before, I don't remember.

I don't know...
I got a great derisive pleasure out of clicking the "Like" on the following post!

It seems like there's lots of posts before about April 2009 that are missing . . . . . . That would be a bummer.

Someone else gave an example that there's only one thread that has any of Warren's posts on it.
