Image file help
Any Pelicans have any image files that look similar to this? I'm looking for a 911 logo, preferably with wheels & whaletail. I'm trying to get some graphics for my truck & trailer done by MikeZ (Joe Bob) but can't seem to find anything of decent quality to send him. He doesn't have anything matching what I'm looking for in this line silhouette style. The only file I was able to acquire is of pretty poor quality. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!:)

Thanks guys, but no. Pretty much looking for line drawings like I posted w/tail. Oh well, I'll keep looking!

Didn't one of the past Porsche Cup series have an outline type logo??
|
If it's the one I'm thinking of, yes it did but it also said Porsche Cup underneath, with no wheels. I'd have to edit out the letters & somehow get some wheels in there. There was a logo similar to the one I posted that was used by PCA or somebody & it was drawn as rough brushstrokes in several colors but everybody I mention it to, just stares at me blankly. I wish I could remember where I saw it. I'm going to look at old issues of Excellence, probably my best bet.

I traced the picture posted above with a smear brush.

Shane, that looks pretty darn good! Is that in photoshop? If so, I know someone who has a professional version, maybe they can help me.

It is Coral paint but you can do the same with any photo paint program. I did the above simply by tracing over a mask freehand with the mouse.
Here is one with some brush stroke wheels and some rockers added. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1302325604.jpg You can use these, or are you looking for something different? |

This is done using Illustrator. If this is along the lines you seek, I have the original file in EPS format. If Mike cuts this from vinyl, he will most likely need the vector file which is the EPS one. One version is heavier line weight than the other.

Thank you to all for your help!
Kirk, your file is closest to what I'm looking for...I'll PM you. Shane, thank you for spending some time creating those files, ultimately yours is where I'd like to wind up but I have no experience at all in photoshop or Corel, etc. & have zero confidence that I'll be able to create what I'm looking for. I don't want to chance screwing up/screwing around as I'm looking to get this done ASAP. Duncan, thank you for the examples. I really appreciate the effort guys. I'm always amazed at the Pelican collective, no matter the subject, somebody out there always has the answer! Thanks again guys! |
No problem, let me know if I can help.
