how much are Sport seats worth?

Not that I am looking to part my car out, but I was just curious what the seats in my car are worth. My '83 SC Targa has the full leather interior and the Sport seats. I was told a long while ago by a fellow PCA member that these seats were sought after. So I just curious as to what the going rate was for these seats. Obviously condition plays it. My passenger seat is in really good condition, the driver's seat has a tear in the bolster. Oddly it's on the right bolster and not the left.

Often I read threads about people picking up this and that at various swap meets and such, so I was just curious what these Sport Seats would go for.

I have been watching these for a while.
Pretty much perfect leather seats selling for $1400-1500 plus shipping. (for the pair)
Pretty much perfect cloth and vinyl for $1000=1200 plus shipping.
Condition of the bolsters and leather makes a big difference in selling price.
OTOH I have seen core quality seats for around $500.

I agree 1500ish for perfect, concours quality, maybe even a tad more, rest of those figures seem spot on.

Wow!!!!

Granted my seats are no where near concours level. Afterall they are almost 29 years old (Build date Oct 1982) and have been sat on for 140K miles.

It's still nice to know that my seats are something that is sought after. Anyone know how much the standard seats go for these days?

Seems I've seen pricing from $200 to $400+, maybe even more for really nice ones (pair).
