draco -are you saying there are areas in North America where there is no periods in the winter months that it thaws out enough to drive a car? I doubt it. If so, you need to move!!

No Kramer747, I am not saying that ^^^.

I am sort of lucky to live in People Republic of Kalifornia :rolleyes: SoCal. My understanding is states with heavy snow will lay down salt to help melt the snow down.

The issue with our babies is that they do not like SALT due to the rust effects of it.

I know our cars can handle the snow because there is snow in Germany but the salt with our cars causes the RUST CANCER. That is why some of the Pelicans store there car rather than risk getting rust on their precious.

I think our Snow Clad Pelicans can better chime in.

thats why i live in southern california too. no snow no salt plenty of year round driving unless its raining.
