Noob question alert!
Ok so can i use my cigarettte lighter port for cell phone charging? its a 78 sc my original guess was no but i think i saw someone do it and I'm too scared to do it for fear of my car blowing up. Thanks, Your local novice:confused ![]() |

should not be a problem. If it feels a bit "loose", there are plastic sleeves that were made for radar detectors that would help "fill the gap" so you don't get the "wobblies".

I added a Auto Zone charging port under the dash. Tight fit on US style plugs and runs direct to the battery. Constant 12v power.
