This barn find came with one engine in the rear one in the back seat and one under the hood. The car kinda looks like a nazi helmut dont it.

So many questions...

-Are you going to restore it? If so, I'll give you a special rustbucket award in the 356 category (I'm going to hold on to my pre-'73 911 rustbucket award, thank you very much).

-Any history on the car? We'd love to hear about it...

-If it's not a restoration candidate- what will you do with it? Seems a shame to toss out a reasonably straight bathtub. Turn the front end into a party cooler and sell the rest of the sheetmetal off?

-Now about that tasty Gran Prix White item under the lift...tell me all about it or point me to an existing thread! It's gorgeous ! I'd love to see more photos, as I'm building one myself (RSR, actually). Same color scheme- I've got the blue graphics carefully stored away in a closet, waiting for the day...

Cool

What's the story on this 356? How and where did you find it?

This car was supposedly found in a abandand warehouse in new york. The car was on a rotiserri (did i spell that right?) and a junk man had to pull it off the stands and put all the parts inside it. He was paid to do this(you gotta love it) after the junkman got it he towed it to his lot in brooklyn and listed it on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=600904544 It did however come with much more parts than stated including 3 motors instead of 2.
I wonder what he may have left behind in that warehouse.

Oh and as for the white one underneath it ,thats my baby. My daily driver is outside through the garage door in that same picture (maroon 68` 912).

I didnt sell anything yet. Yes I stripped it clean. It was mostly allready apart since it was being restored by the previous owner so the parts were in boxes and loose in the interior.
