Broken Throttle Return Spring(?) on 3.2
 

Good morning -- after noticing that my accelerator pedal had become "wimpy," I discovered that the throttle return spring (the spring next to the cruise control cable termination by my throttle body) had broken.

Looking @ parts manuals, it looks like this is one of 2 identical springs in the assembly.

Any concerns with driving the car (it's my daily driver) before I get a replacement spring?

You can pick up a temporary one at a Local store. I would not drive around with it broken, you might have decel issues or worse yet over rev.

PO had two spring on OEM and a generic spring from local store. I replaced with a brand new OEM.
