911 SC Pilot Bearing Assembly – SHCH Torque?
Greetings,
I am in the process of replacing a badly worn friction plate and a flywheel that was toast with the Sachs Power Clutch super kit along with a new flywheel. The flywheel is installed with a new seal and bolts to correct torque of 66 LbFt. I did not notice new pilot bearing SHCH in the super kit – is it acceptable to re-use these three (3) SHCS or should I order (3) new? Secondly does anyone know the correct torque for these three (pilot bearing assembly) SHCS? I’ve checked both 101 Projects and Haynes and have not been able to find the value. On a side note to the previous statement; while I’ve never had a blond moment in my life … I’m having way too many gray hair moments as life goes on! You help is greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, |

SHCS means socket head cap screws.
Looks like 10 nm which converts to 7.4 ft pounds. I don't see a reason to change the bolts but can't say for sure. Edit See next post for better view of data ![]() ![]() Last edited by Bob Kontak; 04-14-2011 at 07:01 PM.. |
