Pelican after market oil cooler, who has tried it?
Since I destroyed the threads on my oil cooler removing the flexible lines, and I can't find a solution that will allow me to fix the issue at reasonable cost, I'm thinking of buying the after market cooler that Pelican sells. Has anyone tried it? Would you recommend it?

I used the aftermarket last month, and it works great. No Issues.
My old cooler started leaking after I replaced the hoses, which were a real bi#ch to remove. I priced new and aftermarket replacements, and then pursued finding a used one here on pelican. It seems that most people wanted $375 for a used cooler, add to that the cost of testing and cleaning, and your in new OEM territory. The aftermarket cooler fits fine, and works fine. Go for it. I suggest you replace the isolator mounts while you are in there. Have fun.
