If you do a search here for my post you'll find a link to a site full with manuals...

This will save you from asking a lot of questions

You're right, '86 930 is not there, but it's maybe 99% percent identical to older ones and I think differences are only at comfort electrics, not engine

PM me your email and I'll send you a PDF with all of them (including '86)

The answer is.... Why don't we just anwer the questions on this board? Afterall.. That's what it is for..

Honestly... The copy of the 86 wiring diagram from the following site isn't that bad. http://www.cannell.co.uk/

Your correct. That the ignition circuit for the Turbo's didn't change for several years so any year close to 86 is the same and uses the 6 pin CDI box.

Below is your answer

The "white" wire coming from terminal "A" of your CDI box should be connected to teminal "A" of the coil. This might be labeled "+" as well. The "brown wire with a white stripe" is your ground and this should be attached to the "1
or "-" side terminal of the coil.. This wire goes back to terminal 31/1 of your CDI box.

Be safe... The white wire sends 460 VAC when the engine is cranking or on. Do not touch it for fear of possible death.

Of course you're right, this forum is for questions and answers.

There are just situations, for example working on car's electrics, then a wiring diagramm is more handy than a notebook and waiting for answer of the question

So in this case I think best is:

Download manual - print out - check diagramm - if still question: ask
