Has anyone used Prothane shift coupler bushings?
Found these on eBay - made of urethane... Can't tell from the site what the 'kits' offered by our illustrious host site are made from...
I've seen positive reviews on the brass ones that are no longer available....thinking that urethane may be a good alternative for long term durability if the 'kits' (contains 99-1758-424-M230) contain ones made of rubber or lesser quality material. Any experience with these?

I don't think you would want urethane there. It needs to rotate well. i used the plastic bushings. Seem to be fine...

The photo in your link shows bushings with the elongated holes, like the originals. Seems the current trend is toward circular holes instead, to reduce play in the coupling. Your choice.

I went with Delrin...made my own....round holes ..not elongated.
Works like a charm..tight shifting...positive movement. Bob
