Help with Power Loss

Ok, I must have jinxed the car, it was driving great just had Bilstein Sports installed on all 4 corners and had the throttle adjusted to proper operating range.

Today, it was running fine when I went to pass someone in 4th at around 4k and it sputtered and did not continue to gain power. I got to my destination but I had no real throttle response the car would go but had no jump and would sputter on occasion. After sitting for a while when I went to go home it really game me a hard time to get going. I was able to get it going a bit better but not like it has been driving.

Possible causes?
- i did put in gas before i left from my regular source
- i had removed all the engine insulation from behind the motor last night (ripped it out)
- rotor plugs new last summer not a lot of miles on them

Also any idea what this hose is and should it be hooked up somewhere?

Check the distributor and make sure youre advance is kicking in, no advance, no 3500+ rpm
