Rebuilt Alternator: How many Amps?

Hello,

I'm getting a factory rebuilt alternator (1 yr warranty) from a local Porsche repair shop.
Guy wants to know how many Amps the old one puts out cause he has 2 possible matches....he says the Amp output should be on the side of the old alternator but that's not the case.

Model: Motorola S_E_V
14 V
P/N 71223702

How do I find Amp Output. Thanks.

I just had the alternator for my car rebuilt, but it is not a Motorola. It is a Paris-Rhone. 75 Amps, I believe. It cost me $100 for a full rebuild at a quality local shop.

Emmanuel,

On the ID plate, immediately after the '14 V' is another clue ... in the form: 'xx A' for yours, it might be 90 A, which would indicate a 90 Amp rating.
