76 911S Fuel Injectors Loose?

I am tracking down potential air leaks in my 2.7 with CIS. I can freely turn some of the fuel injectors in their intake manifold holes with my fingers. They seem almost rattling they are so loose. Is this the way they are supposed to be? Some are tight and some feel loose. Is there some kind of O=ring that holds them in place? How do I pull them out to inspect? Thanks!

There is 2 seals on the injector area. One black donut for the injector and a thinner black seal for the bakelite injector holder. the bakelite is more difficult to remove but sometimes comes out with the injector. If you look closely there is a deformed set lock in the aluminum.

OK. I found this thread: Fuel injector replacement Q

It seems that though the injectors feel loose that they do not leak but that a diagnostic is to drip some fluid down the hole to see if the idle changes? The favored fluid is motor oil because it does not harm the O-ring seals. It also sounds like removing the injectors is best done with the motor out of the car so I won't be doing this soon unless I absolutely am forced to do so. Injector removal requires grinding the intake manifold to remove peen marks that hold the injector sleeves in place. The manifold must be peened to replace the raised areas once the injectors are replaced in order to retain the injectors.
