Question 911-Headlight Adjustment

I've just acquired an '88-Carrera Cabriolet 8-days ago. I drove it for the first time @ night on Tuesday and discovered that the headlights were simply pointing
incorrectly. I've checked the Ride level and it does not have a nose-dip. I've just ordered a Bentley Service Manual and my Owners Manual has absolutely nothing on Head-lamp adjustment. [unlike the 356-Owners Manual which provided an easy to visualize drawing!]
I am seeking the following dimensions: distance to a flat wall, and height off the ground of both the low and high beams. I believe I can adjust them myself with some basic dimensions. Can anyone help? Thanks from an old Rakasan in SW Florida

Daniel Stern has a great procedure. Find it here: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

I did mine just shining them on the wall from about eight feet away. Got them looking level, test drove, and done. Trial and error, but you can do it.
Height off the garage floor I don't recall, but about 2.5 feet???
EDIT: I just checked (I have H4s): About 7 feet from the wall, and about 31" off the ground to center of high-beam pattern.....................YMMV

Thank You Harry D, and Nesslar. I have down-loaded the Procedure by Daniel Stern. And will give it a go in short order. Vince Cappelletti, Bonita Springs, FL.

Park in front of a wall or garage door. On level ground.

Turn on the lights (dims).

With the bumper almost touching the wall, put an 'X' with masking tape at the center of each light.

Back up straight 20 feet. Adjust lights so that they are centered on the 'X's.

Done.

What is it with 911 headlights? I just got an '86 Carrera, and a previous owner had adjusted them to practically point at the ground. They were so low, you could use high beams as low beams - which must have been the intent.
