Windscreen wiper arms.
Hi all
I was in the process of reversing my wipers, when I noticed that the one shaft looked a bit dry, I removed all of the wiper arm linkages and the one side is totally dry and a fine rust like powder has come out of it. Is it ok to just stuff some wheel bearing grease into that or will that just leak out all over the luggage compartment? It also looks like there is a spring type washer missing. I am thinking about getting the Bentleys service manual, does it cover topics like this? How good is it? Thanks in advance Happy motoring Jakes |

I recently did the viper arm reversal, and just wanted to add a small piece of wisdom I gained from this exeprience
![]() When I first turned the wipers on after having reversed them, they didn't for some reason park as far down as I would have wanted them to. ![]() Rather that having to get myself into adjusting the linkage in the front compartment again, I simply removed the arms from atop, and adjusted them that way - worked perfectly when I again turned them on! ![]() They now park in perfect position every time.
