anyone going to the p-car gathering in KY in April?
I was just wondering if anyone from this board was going to go to the Corvette M. in Lexington I think Kentucky for the Porsche gathering there it's in April on the 26th thru 28th I think....

Yeah, I was thinking about going to that. The Boxster contingent is sponsoring the gig, which is PCA I suppose. It's on my local chapter's web page. (Which I'm the webmaster for.)

Lexington's my home town - I'd definitely mix a Porsche meet and a visit with the family; where can I find details?

You can find the details on the PCA home page or Corvette Museum page.. a frind had mentioned it to me .. i haven't checked into it far yet but i'm going if they are having a gathering of any type i love talking to other p car owners.... hope to see ya there.

Guyys hate to burst your bubbles but: The Corvette Factory/Museum is in Bowling Green, KY which is a good little drive from Lexington.
However the May 4th, "Drive To Georgetown, KY." Thats only about 15 miles from Lexington and a veryscenic drive at that.

It is a haul to Bowling Green from Lexington...BUT....if you cut over to I-65 via the Blue Grass Parkway you on on a wonderful VERY uncrowded, essentially unpatrolled stretch of 4 lane pavement...none of our local constabulary have lasers and while I know no one would dream of blowing the carbon out of your flat-6's the opportunity certainly exists........

I am hoping to Eric...playing it tight since I will be up at the PCA Mid-Ohio Drivers ed the weekend before..domestic tranquility is important to maintain. For sure I will do the Georgetown drive as that is just 30 minutes away for me.
