Porsche Crest My Car won't start

Hello to all.

My 1971 911t just won't start. I parked it for a few weeks and when I tried to restart the car earlier this month it just turned over. I have reduced it down to no spark. I get no spark at the plugs or from the coil.

If someone can get me a procedure so that I can trace this down I would be grateful.

My first suggestion would be to check the points, are they adjusted correctly and opening/closing? Next, try the CDI unit. Does it make a whine with the ignition switched on? Are you getting power to the center connection on the CDI?
