Seat Question: 964, 993, 996, Boxster seats in a 1987 911?
This morning, the original driver's seat in my 1987 911 finally got its first tear.
Are there any newer Porsche seats (964, 993, 996, Boxster?) that are an easy bolt in? And yes, I understand that some will have airbags that I will have to deal with.

I put a Boxster seat in my '86 Targa. I wouldn't say it was an "easy " fit you have to bend the tab and yada yada but it is in. I didn't hook up any of the electrical stuff and I really don't need it. It has a manual slider on it.

I had boxster heated seats on my 911.
Picked them for 200 bucks off Craigslist. Little work with the sliders and extra wiring for the electric part of the seat. For a reason that I don't know 911 seats are always a little higher. So, If you don't care about 100% originality get some boxster's |
