oil press lite
My oil press. lite comes on when the engine is normal warm up temp. The oil press is fine ..the lite will start to come on at idle but after a while the lite will come on at 2000RPMs ...does this sound like a faulty oil press switch?

Possibly. I can recall Bruce Anderson I think, say that an oil pressure warning light at idle is not necessarily all bad. Just be sure your oil pressures are correct at speeds like 3000 and 5000 rpm. I'd be a little concerned that the light is coming on at 2000.

I don't know if you recently may have purchased your car and may not know this is there. The previous owner may have installed an adjustable pressure switch which is set to come on at a higher pressure than the stock which, which would mean that at idle, if adjusted accordingly, the light would come on.
