Fire extinguisher mount for racing seats

Hi Folks,

I'm playing a bit of a puzzle game with the interior as I attempt to freshen it up a bit. The PO had bolted the current F/E mount directly into the floor in front of the passenger seat, which is a fine location, but it also prevents me from using standard sized mats there.

I know I could mount the F/E to the rollbar, but I kind of like that passenger floor position so I was thinking of keeping it there but switching to that type of mount that attaches to the seats so it's off the ground and would allow a mat to slide underneath.

But unless I'm mistaken, I think both the Brey-Krause and Rennline mounts attach to the stock seats themselves, and I have a pair of Corbeau Forza's in there now.

Anyone have a recommendation for that type of mount that would be compatible with race seats installed? Obviously a lot of people must use this exact setup, and yet I didn't find much on Search...

Thanks!

Yup, definitely. Well, I can just get to the F/E while strapped in when it's in that position under the passenger seat - that's why I'd like to leave it there, but just switch to a mount that gets it off the floor...

The BK mounts on the front attach points for the seat. It should work with any seat. I have one mounted under the seat rails of my pole position seats.

I have the one for power seats. It opens up the center so I can still reach the seat adjuster.

What about this BK 2015 mount?

Its meant for seats with manual sliders. I use it with Recaro made factory GT3 one piece seats. The mount attaches to the sliders, and the FE is off the floor and moves fore and aft with the seat.

Ah-ha! Ok, looking at pictures it seemed that the BK worked that way, but I think I was confused by the text descriptions...

Great news, thanks...
