Hi all,

I am currently rebuilding/restoring a 1965 911. I bought the car in -98 and now the body is getting ready for sand blasting after replacing of front latch support panel, front suspension pan, gas tank support, inner & outer rocker panels, floor pans and rear crossmember latch panel. As you can see the car was not in the best shape when I got it. The car was originally a US car sold to UK in early -97 and then to Sweden in late -97. I bought the car from the 1st Swedish owner after he got fed up with it.

Now to my questions. The original seller was Hoffman Imported Cars Inc. Where is/where he located?
Is there any way I can trace the cars locations or previous owners in US? Some sort of register?
I know two different US license numbers for the car. Do they change with owners?
I have two different VIN numbers from Oregon for the car? Do they change with owners?

I just like to find out as much as possible about the car and what has happened to it. From working on it I know it has had a major off somewhere in the past.
