Porsche Crest porsche targa 2.4T 1972

Hello pelicans, i wonder if anybody can help me, i have a small issue of backfire on startup, it wont do it all the time but here and there and it never happends when the engine is warm, thanks , pud

When cold, does the car drive rough or ok? If yes, I might be set too lean when cold. I then pops and sputters a bit which goes away at operating temperature.

Mine is too rich and backfires after I take my foot of the pedal after hard acceleration. Unburned fuel in the hot muffler.

Be careful, don't start to mess with the MFI pump until you read and followed the steps from the CMA (Check Measure Adjust) procedure. Loads of threads about MFI on this forum.
