Sunroof operation - wont open

Help!

My sunroof will drop and open 4 -5in under its own power. It operats very slowely, I have not tried assisting to see if it goes all the way back. With some assistance and light pressure lifting from inside the car, it will close on its own.

All hardware is new in the car when it was restored, has not been open since then. Two years ago I manually opened it while it was stored for the winter (first time in 10 years it has been opened. I did this so I could clean out all the drain lines. Cables and everything else looked ok.

Any suggestions on what the problem is? It open evenly so I don't think it is a cable problem. Is the motor bad?
