Anyone care to guess what this is used for 914? 911? Is it worth anything? Its brand new. Came with my car (914)

sounds like just a large capacitor. quite pricey, but it is "magic". pretty box too.

Simple voltage "stabilizer".

Huge high power zener diode.

Years ago motorcycles often did not have voltage regulators. Instead what was used was a HUGE zener diode mounted on a good heat dissipating surface on the forks just behind the headlight.

Same concept, "soaks" up ALL the voltage generator/alternator output current flow above say, 12.75 volts.

The rest is all hype, SNAKE OIL.

Worse than worthless, could meltdown the wiring within the alernator in short order.
