where is the idle control screw????

Can anyone please post a pic or name a book that would have this Idle control pic in it. my 78 sc idles to high ..at about 1500 i know it should be @1000 or 900 aome where in that range and i CAN NOT find the idle control screw to fix it. if there is such a thing. please help,,,,

should i just go buy the Bentleys book for SC's since i have every other book and none of them show it's location...

Your high idle might be caused by a stuck AAV. Does the idle go real high when cold starting, and then settle to 1500 rpm, or is it just always at 1500?

Heck Eric after awhile your hands will just go right to this little screw...even if you are half asleep. This is the guy you have to adjust to set idle for timing etc...It's kind of like the "muscle memory" for unhooking bra clasps..

That is just what it does.. you described the problem perfectly... is there somthing else i should be messing with ??? if so please let me now.
