Vent window - how to glue frame to glass
 

Hi
I've been working on this project for a couple of years and I have to say getting all of the window bright work redone has been a royal PITA! By far the most frustrating aspect of the resto.

I've had three attempts trying to get the glass glued to the re-chromed frame for the front vent window.

It keeps coming unstuck - the first two times after i reassembled the door!

Ive tried two different types of silicone. Any advice would be appreciated.
