NYC local shop - any recommendations?
Hi there,
I researched the forum for pros and cons of going with a local shop vs a Porsche dealer for older Porsches and it seems that it's better to go with the local shop. I recently got a 1986 3.2 Cabriolet and am looking for an expert shop in NYC metro area, ideally in Brooklyn / Queens or neighboring Long Island. Any recommendations? Thank you, Renato |

I've had recent experience with Mtech Motorsports on Main St in New Rochelle, and can recommend them. Owner is Mike Tashkent, who owns an '87 Carrera himself. He's got a couple decades of aircooled 911 experience.
