NYC local shop - any recommendations?

Hi there,
I researched the forum for pros and cons of going with a local shop vs a Porsche dealer for older Porsches and it seems that it's better to go with the local shop.
I recently got a 1986 3.2 Cabriolet and am looking for an expert shop in NYC metro area, ideally in Brooklyn / Queens or neighboring Long Island.
Any recommendations?

Thank you,
Renato

I've had recent experience with Mtech Motorsports on Main St in New Rochelle, and can recommend them. Owner is Mike Tashkent, who owns an '87 Carrera himself. He's got a couple decades of aircooled 911 experience.

Bill Rudtner or Rick DeMan, around here I wouldn't go anywhere else, but that's because I race with both guys.

Or see this list from Metro PCA
