Oil sale at Autozone
While at the local Autozone this am noticed "Motorcycle Oils" on sale, $2 off per quart. There were 3 brands on the shelf, a Valvoline Dino oil($3.99/qt), a Castrol Dino oil($3.99/qt), and a Mobil "fully synthetic", in both 10w40 and 20w50($9.99/qt).
I hesitated buying the Mobil(20w50) at $7.99/qt on sale until I drove back home to check with you guys. I realize there are some here who are anti-Mobil, I just need to know if this particular oil has the adequate zddp, etc for my original 100K mile 83 SC. Thanks |

I just paid $5.05 for Mobil 1 15w50
Advance Auto Parts Welcome Back - Save 20% Off Your Next Order at Advance Auto Parts the deal is you buy 5 quarts and a Mobil 1 oil filter for $32.99 I use the Mahle filter for the 911 so I bought 3 filters for my Jeep Mobil 1 15w50 has the ZDDP rated at 1,200. Most other flavors of Mobil 1 don't have the high number. 15w50 is labeled for race engines. Maybe same for 20w50? Mobil 1 is labeled as "full synthetic", but it's full bs. Redline is full synthetic. That's about all I have to know about oils for my act
