LWB Dash Center Speaker Replacement Options?
I have a 1970 911 in resporation process and the new dash will soon get mounted. I was thinking maybe I should go ahead and install some sort of good speaker in the dash before that happens. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a speaker(s) they have installed there that they are happy with that are good quality?

my '73 has a pair of blaupunkt 4" speakers mounted to a stiff plastic plate in the original factory location...depends how original you are trying to keep the car, but you should get good sound out of a pair of high quality 4 speakers.....not much stereo separation, but good sound staging from that location....
then again, the best audio you'll get out of one of these cars comes straight out of the tail-pipe....save a few pounds and leave the stereo for your other car.....
