Rear quarter window. New rubber now won't fit
Hi
I have reanodised all of my windows. A project that has proven to be a P.I.T.A.! Rear quarter windows: now that I have installed the window with all the new rubber seals it doesn't appear to want to close shut. It's is so tight I'm worried I am going to brake the glass. Any thoughts? Should I just lube the rubber and force it in to allow it to 'settle'? Front vent windows: is there a technique for installing the glass into the chrome window frame? Just a small dab of silicone I assume and then use the latch to hold in place? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks R |

Rear quarter window early
Maybe the seal is upside down.... Can anyone advise if on the rubber quarter window frame rubber seal does the 'tag' that's a triangle shape at one edge go at the top of the window pointing upwards or at the bottom facing down?
Hope this makes sense. TIA |
