Not another tired tire thread......
 

I am going to buy some DE tires for my 7 &9 x 17"track wheels and being cost conscious I am considering the Sumitomo HTR ZIII's. Car is a stock 87 G50 Carrera.

I have spacers (1.5" rear and 1" front) and I plan to go 245/40/17 rears and 225/45/17 fronts.

Any comments on the sizing? Could I go with 255/40/17 rears in which case the Hankook Ventus RS 3's come into play for a good price

I need to order these this week to get them mounted ready for next DE so any feedback is most welcome.
