What The!!!

Hi,
Is it just me or is anyone else finding it disturbing that l can't get a part for my 89 carrera coupe from Porsche of any aftermarket retailer.Luckily l got hold of(rear body panel) it secondhand.
Is this to become more and more common?Should l be concerned

sorry about the smarta$$ remark....

its just that parts are parts... some parts for a 25+ year old car are going to be hard to come by new or OEM... used is often going to be the only way esp when it comes to body parts that are deeper than a bolt on piece

Hope things work out with your repairs....

I'm with ivangene: you need to dump that sled before it becomes a problem. I'll give you a few hundred dollars and haul it off no charge.
The sad fact is that the cost of repairing our cars will be going up due to NLA.
Edit: I just realized I can't buy your car. Too far away. I have to take back my "generous" offer.

Thanks Phil, without this forum it would have been a lot harder to sort out.
Very funny Joe, well you would only be bringing her home.Surely there are heaps of 87-89 carreras out there l was just surprised that for such a well known popular model parts couldn't be brought...
