For Targas Only
Ok . . . how many of us need to replace that old flattened out seal that runs along the rear portion of our windows, but just keep putting it off because it is a major pain to replace.
Well here's a way to prolong the replacement, and stop the wind tunnel effect of the leaking seal. Pick up 4 feet of 3/8" OD plastic ice machine hose. Cut in 4 equal pieces. Cut a slit at the bottom of the seal (see arrow) and feed 2 pieces of hose (one at a time) up in to the seal so that that they lie side by side. Seal slit with some 3M adhesive or silicon and now you can hear the stereo again, or the engine, your choice. Hope this helps someone suffering from the same problem I was.

Are you talking about the rubber seal glued to the front of the Targa bar that seals the back edge of the roof and the back edge of the windows? If so, what is the major pain in the butt aspect of replacing it? I just bought a new one and plan to do it in the coming weeks. -- Curt
