No experience with EGT, but I bought a dual CHT and voltmeter from Westach. I mounted those on a panel in place of the ashtray. Good price, reasonable quality, and doesn't look too out-of-place.

I am just about to complete a 6 cylinder EGT/CHT system in my 76 911s, using MGL avionics 12 bar thermocouple display. It is a digital dispaly that shows all twelve temps at once, with an alert function that I am going to wire to my red EGR light. It was excellent value at a little over $300 for the indicator, and I am coupling it with probes I got with a mixture mizer 12 cylinder egt system off of Ebay.
I have 6 extra egt probes and the mixture mizer indicator if you are interested in those at all. Here is a link to the TC-3 indicator I am using; Velocity Singles
