We have an update one information about the Trans Am Targa!
After some searching, the previous owner we bought the car from was able to produce the all the original documents showing that the targa we bought is in fact Robert Overby's car. He handed us a 3" binder full of suspension settings, dyno sheets, engine specs, race results, AND the original log books. We're pretty excited to say the least! We did some research, and found out that a European company produced a model of the car. Now that we know we have the Overby/Rosenberg car, we REALLY want to find one of those models! Does anyone know where we might get one, or have one that they might be willing to part with for some monetary reimbursement? |

Was the car red? Do you have a photo?

Yes, the car was red. I dont have any pictures of it currently. It's sitting in a trailer at our dealership with the door against a sandstone wall to prevent anyone from getting too 'curious' about what's inside. Here is an old picture from Hallett in 1980.

I think the model was a 1:43 scale scratchbuild (or possibly a modified kit) by Stefano Adami in Italy. I supplied some photos for the build. Here's his website:
Stefano Adami Web Space His work is amazing.
