1975 911S Silver Anniversary Edition Sport Seats

Here's a pair of 1975 911S Silver Anniversary Edition sport seats. Guess they're not bad for 36 year old seats. Anyone know where to find matching fabric?
Thanks

No I dont but seeing those pictures brings back fond memories of the '75 I owned for 10 years.

Good luck

A Pelican posted this as a reference, in an old post.

My dad had a suit made out of that same fabric!

I love to see 70s Porsche interiors..GL rehabbing those seats.

I'm looking for the exact same seats...please see posting. However, the previous owner changed the interior to black seats with red inserts so the set I purchase will be re-upholstered. My car is a '75 Anniversary Edition, too. Is there anything unique about these seats other than the "tweed/herringbone" pattern?

I have a 75 that had been converted to all black. I have been successful in finding interior pieces to get it back to original--except for the seats!

As far as I know, the fabric is not available--but I would also like to know where to get it if it is!

75 silver also

I have all of the interior in that fabric except for the seats.. If it is available it would be great to have them redone to match.

This tweed fabric is available in Germany at Cartex =>Sitzklinik - Sitzrestauration, Polsterung, Bezüge, Stoffe für KFZ
I have a friend that is restoring a Silver Anniversary 75 carrera and has bought it there, excellent quality but quite expensive!

Thanks so much for this tip Andrea. I looked them up as you suggested, and they do indeed carry the fabric. It came today! It took a month, and cost over $500 for 1.5 square meter, but I will now be able to do my seats.

Chuck,

Can you post pics of the seats, when they're done? My seats are just sitting is storage collecting dust. I'm not doing a restoration, so eventually I'll let the upholster get creative with them. If I don't get them restored, I'll just post them for sale.

I don't plan on doing them for a while- as I am in the middle of a move, and the seats in the car are OK for now. This is what they are supposed to look like though- I will get Auto's International or the like to get the pleats/seams correct. First pictue is what they look like right now.

And for those who hate the fabric--it does grow on you, and goes very well with the car. My daughter and husband whom the car is for, love it, and want the seats done sooner than later.

Chuck, I'm happy that it worked out, it's really expensive but very nicely done.

Chino, is the leatherette on your seats black or dark blue? I'm searching for a pair dark blue sport seats for a 74 car.

thanks,
Andrea

pretty sure those are not sport seats. the bolsters are too small.

Yeah I think you're right nineball....here are the sport seats....I always thought they would be a little more comfortable than the ones in my SC which are the perforated center style.....

It may be original, but it looks like a leisure suit material.

My 1975 911S has the same interior, "tweed", but a white exterior. I appears the paint has always been white. Does anyone know or have a 911 with the same interior as shown in this thread with an exterior color othee than silver?

Thanks
