Rolled over 300K last Friday!

Happily joined the 300,000mile club last Friday. I was literally pulling into my driveway as the odo rolled over! Funny timing.

I'm the 3rd owner of the car and use it a daily driver. Bought it in 2001 and have added about 120k to the total. Still original engine.

Trans. has been sorted once and will be due again as some synchros are getting slugish.

Been a fantastic drive so far!

Couple of celebratory iPhone pics:

Almost there...trip odo is on the mark too amazingly

Money!

Ready to join good company in the garage

Cheers, Cooper

Cooper - Congrats.

I too would be interested in a clear bra installation on my new Boxster. Do you travel up to West LA (culver city?). Feel free to PM me.

Man, I love seeing stuff like this! A Porsche being used as it was designed to be. Mine turned over 100K last fall in the middle of a track weekend, after doing a 2000-mile road trip earlier in the summer. Congrats, Cooper!

Cool !

I met the owner of a 1980 SC l;ast weekend and he is over 420,000 miles.
When he puirchased the Porsche it only had about 35,000 miles.

Complete motor rebuild was done at 250,000 miles while he was in there to address the oil leaks.

They just keep on ticking....
