Northwest Swap Meet??????
You guys are all talking about the hersey swap meet which is (correct me if I am wrong) on the east coast?
Is there a porsche swap meet for us on the other side of the world? ( Washington or B.C.) Thanks Wayne civil-tech@look.ca |

Hi Wayne,
While we don't seem to have the volume of events that California and some Eastern locales do, we *do* have one of the best events right in our backyard....John Walker's Workshop Swapmeet. John keeps the event date in limbo until a month or so before the event, but has told me it will likely be in August (Seattle) this year. This is a "must" for any Porsche enthusiast. You can be sure John will post the date right here when he sets it. In the meanwhile, get ready for the SCWDP Rainforest Round-Up '02. This is a driving and social event that *no* enthusiast will want to miss!

Thanks Doug, Its good to hear that we are not left alone out here in the rain and snow!!!!!!! The SCWDP Rainforest roundup will be my first porsche event and my car will come on a trailer if its not ready...........Will definately make the John Walker event.

i just confirmed the date. august 10th. same place. no track events scheduled on that day, so attendance should be good.
