Accident :(

So I was cruising up Stunt Rd, actually cruising below speed limit cause I was just relaxing. While going around a left hand bend, an s10 pulled across my lane to get to a vista point.

Long story short, my car collided with his. At first I thought, that wasn't that bad. But then I saw my car. The passenger front fender is buckled and the passenger door is up against the jam. The wheel well bend at the bottom seems much tighter than the driver's side. Alignment is off as well and it squeaks over bumps.

No pictures yet, but if there any hope for the chassis? I am so sad.

I'm truly sorry to hear that. I hope it was just suspension/fender damage.

I think the worst part is that the guy tried to get me to go vegan after the whole thing, saying everything will be great and he couldn't give me enough money for the gift of vegetarianism he was giving me. WTF.

That is NOT the way to handle an accident that's your fault, that's for sure.

You got his insurance though right? Bummer to hear about the accident, hope it all works out in your favor.

Real sorry to hear that - glad it wasn't worse, but still sorry. I hope it works out ok.

I am not sure if the guy had a good handle on life, yet alone the accident. At one point the conversation veered into karate and how the road was like a sword and we were travelers on its path.

Take it over to Kevin (KevinP73 here on the board) at Automotive Innovations and Restorations in Van Nuys. If it can be fixed, he's da man!

Sounds like the other driver was enjoying mother nature; either by inhaling or ingesting. Hope it works out...

Crash

Sorry to hear about your encounter with that BONEHEAD on the canyon . Sounds to me you might have been to close to Topanga Cyn. North of Malibu Cyn on Mullholland is better ,Less traffic

I think I may have told the guy to STFU if he pulled that after smashing into my car.
