Fuel Pump does not activate when ignition is on
Hello, On an hour long trip last week I noticed my 87 Targa 3.2 fuel injected was bogging down when I let up on the accelerator. Got home popped the trunk to take a look. Tried to start it, It cranked but would not start. Waited an hour and was able to pull it in the garage. Today I noticed that the fuel pump did not buzz when ignition was turned on. It does buzz when jumped at the the fuses. and does run when jumped. All the fuses are good I flip flopped the relays and cleaned all connections. What is my next step? What could be faulty? the dme relay? The ecm? any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance Sam

The fuel pump only runs when the engine is turning, I.E. starting and running. Put your hand on the DME relay and turn the key to run, it should click, then try to start the car, it should click again.

Fuel Pump
The DME relay does click I have a back up ECM module and the ignition switch has been replaced recently. All gauges appear normal when starting. and once again the car will idle when I jump the fuses normally.
