RUF bumper project

Hello!

Been a while since writing. Simply been to busy with my RUF bumpers project.
My SC was also a flatnose, put on some turbo front wings from RennSpeed.
Bumpers where also from RennSpeed.

Kudo's to Peter of RennSpeed, terrific products and terrific service.

The most difficult part getting right where the brakcets for the lights and the gap between wing and door. The bumpers where an easy fit, with very little mods needed to look good.

I am lucky, my neighbour is a pro body man, so he has helped me a lot getting the right gaps and finish. He also lent me his workshop, which was just too nice of him.. Thanks Tommy.

Got my 335/35/15" Michelin TB-5 a couple weeks ago, and they look magnificent. And oboy do they stick. If push it, I can easily feel the front now needs new tires as well, the rear just hangs in there while the front wants to let go. Looking forward for my first track event.

Car is going to the painter this weekend, including some pictures from the build and just before painting. Will post some more when it is back.

Cheers, Jarle

Does the rennspeed bumper have a lip on the bottom for attaching a rubber air dam like the originals?

Car is at the painters, a bit of a delay as it usually is with these things

I've been promised that the painter will work rest of the week and weekend on my car.. So either sunday or early next week.

Will take pictures of the result!

Painted, almost done

Hello!

Got the car back from the painter today, and I am very happy.
There are some spots I am not happy with, but the painter will fix those spots in two weeks after the paint has hardened properly.

All in all I am very happy with the result. I did not spend silly amounts on paint, since I do run the tracks, couldn't do that if I had spent 5K on a paintjob.

Enjoy the pictures:

Cheers, Jarle
