911SC Tool Kit - Screwdriver Handle

This is a relatively minor issue, but one that nags at me. Like others my tool kit has the various blades that get inserted in to the yellow handle. Unfortunately the yellow handle is missing from the kit.

Wanted to see if there are any after market handles that would work or whether there are similar handles that others have come across.

Also, if anyone had a spare yellow handle suitable for the kit I would be interested in finding out about it

Thanks

jb

I'm in the same boat as John! Once he finds one for his kit, I'd be interested in any others that might be available.

This is the only piece missing from my kit too.

Anybody know if this is being made aftermarket?

Don't know of anyone who makes a reproduction piece, but screwdrivers for VW and BMW toolkits use a very similar drive/locking system (two 'flanges' rather than hex shank); made by Heyco, I think. Might be worth a look at your local euro import salvage yard.

Does anyone know if the Xcelite 991BK screwdriver handle would be a good substitute that would fit the bits in the toolkit?

I bought one thinking it might just do the trick, but alas, it does not fit the blades that come with the original Porsche tool kit. The blade diameters are too small in the 991BK.

Close but no dice. :(

Thanks Creve, that's exactly what I needed to know.
