Recently started the engine after the rebuild and conversion to 3.2 Litre, addition of chain tensioners, new cam profile, etc. I thought the pressure sender may be faulty so I got a new one but the pressure does not climb to more than 1 bar while I have run in the cams at 2000 rpm (and varying). The green light goes out right after I crank the car indicating pressure and I can see the gauge come up off of zero pressure to a little over 1 bar, but I thought I should see a higher pressure at startup.
Should I swap out the dash gauge itself??, surely the second sender is not bad, the reading is the same with either sender. Or is this normal? ------------------ 78 3.0L/3.2L CIS 911SC |

David,
Do both senders read between 10 - 25 Ohms at ambient air pressure or engine off? ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |
