Quick sunroof/headliner question

Hey everyone,

I have a couple questions about my sunroof and headliner. At the sunroof opening, the headliner is starting to come unglued (it was installed by a shop about a year ago before I got the car). I am wondering if there is an easy way to re-attach it using an adhesive that won't be messy. I know that spray adhesive is often recommended for this application, but is there anything that I could use along with some binder clips to attach the headliner as-is?

Also, there is a seal on the outside of the sunroof that is coming unglued. Same question basically - any easy ways of reattaching it?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Anyone? Would I be stupid to just use a tube of super glue to reattach the headliner and seal?

This section requires care. How about spray adhesive on a q-tip? You'll probably want to unclip the sunroof panel and slide it back before starting to apply the adhesive.

I think that 3M 08008 weatherstrip adhesive is what I would use (carefully)

I used contact cement on the headliner fabric of my e30 M3, same basic kind of failure. I would try trim adhesive with the rubber. I wouldn't use super glue, other than coffee cups, my list of failed super glue repairs is too long...

I might give the spray adhesive + q-tips a shot on the headliner.

The sunroof seal is almost a felt-like material, I might try trim adhesive on it though. Thanks for all the advice.
