Left side Fuel Rail removal?

Hello All,

I am replacing my injectors, and have successfully r&r'd the right 3, but have not been able to get the left side fuel rail off..... not that I tried too hard, I stopped for supper before I tried too many things.

I am thinking I can simply loosen (but not remove) a single fuel line cheap software buy cheap software connection to the rail, and pivot the whole deal up, just enough to get the rear injector out?

Thanks!!

Oh boy, fun fun fun.

You need to remove the nuts in the back, tight as heck then it will be smooth from there on until you put the rear nuts back on. I recall I used two wrenches.

Caution, make sure when you put the new injectors on not to pinch those Orings, I tore one and it leaked like crazy. Wouldn't you know it the driver side

Oh and Welcome aboard!

Any Pics?

Like Draco said - you need two wrenches. I used flare nut wrenches. Be careful not to bend anything.

Mine were super tight, and it took a ton of effort. But - once undone, just lift the whole rail out. You'll need the room anyway.

Good Luck.

Suggest a little liquid soap on the injector o rings to get the injectors back in the fuel rail and manifold.
