You have to buy new ones, which I did for the '83 I bought. The harness is a unit, and there's no way you can put new webbing onto existing hardware, unless you've got some kind of industrial-quality sewing machine, exactly the right thread and know the right pattern for sewing. It's crazy to compromise on a seatbelt. Might as well just not use them as try to do an amateur fix.

check out this link:
www.peparts.com here's their pricelist: www.peparts.com/pepbeltprice.html They can even re-do your spools with different webbing colors. Last edited by Eric Coffey; 03-01-2002 at 10:54 AM.. |

I just received an order from peparts and it seems like high quality stuff (of course, it IS just a seatbelt). If you do want just the webbing, saw a guy selling 30 foot spools for $5 or so on ebay recently.

Seat Belt webbing
I did not intend to do an "amateur fix". I was hoping there was a company that does re-webbing at a better price than buying a whole new seat belt. Thanx Eric...I guess I will end up just going that route!
